Snowdon House Designs

The printed textile starts from a piece of my one of a kind handmade papers. Hand dyed strands of green soya silk are twisted and laced to create a web, linking spun seaweed/silk  fibre with recycled forest green aluminum can filaments and sprinkled with gold leaf.  The paper is then printed and sewn in Montreal Quebec. Reminiscent of a summer walk through  the towering trees and moss-covered forest in Cathedral Grove on Vancouver Island.
